BAVA are a group of artists ranging from beginners, intermediate to professional . . . focusing on supporting and developing the talents of local artists to benefit the cultural community of the Banana Shire.


We organize and co-ordinate various workshops through the year and are active participants in cultural events such as the annual Brigalow Arts Festival, Callide Valley Show and individual and combined exhibitions through out the Banana Shire.


We provide information on our calendar of events including workshops, art competitions and Flying Arts details.

BAVA @ Café Aroma 2012

Café Aroma is a trendy little café situated on Kariboe Street Biloela, right in the hub of town... currently being renovated in January 2012... it will be even bigger and better! Artists are encouraged to exhibit works ... they can be for sale or merely as a display.

Hanging & collecting of Artist's exhibits are on the first Monday of the month at 5pm.It is preferred that artwork displayed each month stay on the walls until the next artist is ready to hang.

A flyer or program can be created for tables. Labels with artist's contact details, title, cost etc may be applied to walls using blu-tack.

If you are interested in exhibiting your work in 2012 please contact-
Kym Simms bava@westnet.com.auPlease advise the owner or Co-ordinator Kym Simms about early pickups. Kym will assist with the setting up of the exhibits. Any concerns please contact Kym.
