Welcome to our website!

BAVA are a group of artists ranging from beginners, intermediate to professional . . . focusing on supporting and developing the talents of local artists to benefit the cultural community of the Banana Shire.

We organize and co-ordinate various workshops through the year and are active participants in cultural events such as the annual Brigalow Arts Festival, Callide Valley Show and individual and combined exhibitions through out the Banana Shire.

We provide information on our calendar of events including workshops, art competitions and Flying Arts details.

Christmas Greetings with Juanita @ Kristine's

A lovely afternoon together at Kristine's on Monday, 16th December with Juanita Zischke owner/manager of Kristine's Coffee Shop in Biloela. Ladies from BAVA relaxed with Juanita and had a cuppa.

I made a speech on behalf of everyone who has exhibited artworks and others who enjoy a cuppa from time to time.

Thankyou so such for your ongoing support for the art group BAVA, to showcase their art in your shop. Juanita, your support is appreciated. The gift of giving was very much alive with ladies from BAVA giving a piece of artwork to Juanita in appreciation.

BAVA Christmas party!

HO HO HO.....BAVA Celebrating a Creative 2008

11 ladies attend the BAVA Christmas Dinner Party.

A great night out at the Biloela Palms restaurant, relaxing & enjoying each others company.
Secret Santa Gift was wonderful again this year with everyone very excited to receive a lovely artwork from each other.

Thank you to everyone for supporting BAVA in 2008.

Another very successful year, apologies were read & 2009 Calendar was looked over.
