Well, after 7 months I have the pleasure of showcasing 7 pieces of artwork.
Some favourites of mine from my first workshop with Sarah Larsen in 2004.
I had a wonderful time and enjoyed it immensely.
I encourage this for all the artists I know, to enjoy a workshop and experience something new with exhibiting/showcasing their own works of art.
Having Fun with ART:) ~ has been my motto over the past 2 years.
To enjoy it, to create it, to produce a piece of work that makes you feel something and excites you to do more.
Thankyou to everyone along the way who I have met. I have enjoyed your company while we have been creating.
When Juanita (Proprietor of Kristine's) said in September 2007 that she would like to buy some new artwork for the shop, a light came on in my head
(yes - things happen alot in my head) Wouldn't it be wonderful to showcase a BAVA artist each month with their artworks. Seven months later it has been received by Juanita & the community very well. I am very pleased also to know that it is booked up to February 2009 with local artists. Well Done everyone. Thanks Juanita for supporting to artists from BAVA and I encourage all our friends to enjoy the local Art while having a cuppa at Kristine's.
