Message from Q150 Art Mosaic Project Organisers :-
Hello Everyone

I wanted to send you all an update on the Q150 Art Mosaic Project.

It has been an amazing 2 year journey to see this project finally come to fruition. We are still working on the electronic exhibition and signage however you will all be very pleased to know that on Friday we completed the installation of the art piece in the Woolworths Pavilion of the RNA showgrounds ready for the 2009 EKKA.

I have attached a photo for you to see how amazing this mosaic made by Queenslanders for Queenslanders has turned out. We have had professional photos taken however I thought I would send you out this internal photo which gives you the scale and size of the final art piece. You will be pleased to know the two in front will not be on permanent display!!

Without all your support and participation this would not have been possible and I would personally like to thank all the council staff who worked on this and of course thanks to all the fantastic artists that have made this all possible.

The launch/unveiling of the art piece and electronic exhibition is still in the planning stages and I will keep you all informed when more information comes to hand.

Thank you again and congratulations on being a part of this unique mosaic.

Kind regards

Lisa
